James Routh is an versatile and highly creative freelance dubbing mixer, sound editor and sound designer with a proven track record of sound mixing and sound editing for film and television. James will accommodate any of your audio post production requirements, whether it be a simple voice over recording, an exciting sound design, or a complex 5.1 mix.

James is a skilled dubbing mixer and operator of Pro Tools, Pyramix and AMS Audiofile systems and has experienced most industry standard mixing consoles, including the AMS Neve DFC and Logic, and Digidesign Icon and D-Command. His versatility allows him to effectively accommodate your production's budget.

Over the past few years, James has been involved in many high profile television and film productions, including 'Emmerdale', 'Coronation Street', 'When Ali Came to Britain', 'Lost in Austen', '100 Years of The Royal Variety Performance' and 'Heartbeat'.

Remote Audio Mixing

James can provide a remote audio mixing service. All you need to do is upload an AAF/OMF and Quicktime movie of your project to his dedicated FTP site. After the project has been mixed. James can provide a finished audio mix file ready for syncronisation with your online edit timeline. Deliverable audio stems can also be provided at the same time.
